Free Pixelate & Censor Image Tool

Draw over any area to pixelate or blur it. Runs entirely in your browser.

Free pixelate and censor image tool — upload a photo, draw a box over any region you want to hide, and apply a pixelate or blur effect to obscure faces, license plates, documents, screens, or other sensitive details before sharing the image publicly. Choose between a mosaic pixelation effect or a smooth blur, and adjust the intensity until the underlying detail is no longer readable. Everything happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API, so the original, unedited photo never leaves your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this be reversed to reveal the original detail?+
Once downloaded, the pixelated or blurred region has permanently overwritten the original pixel data in that area of the exported image, so it cannot be reversed from the output file.
Can I censor multiple areas in one photo?+
Yes, you can draw and apply the effect to as many regions as needed before downloading.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?+
No, the entire process — drawing the selection and applying the effect — runs locally in your browser.
